OnePlus has globally unveiled the Nord 2T as the first T-branded Nord smartphone. The company has opted for MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor to run the phone. A 4500mAh battery keeps the lights on and there is a speedy 80W adapter support. The phone also comes with a 90Hz AMOLED display on the front and a 50+8+2MP triple camera arrangement on its back.
OnePlus Nord 2T flaunts a 6.43-inch FHD+ 90Hz panel with a left-oriented hole. A 32MP sensor is residing within that cutout. That’s for selfies and video calls. As for the rest of the camera needs, you have got a 50MP primary shooter, an 8MP 120˚ ultrawide snapper, and a 2MP depth-sensing unit.
Under the hood, MediaTek’s Dimensity 1300 is present to take care of processing. This is aided by up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The battery size is 4500 milliamps and the supported 80W SuperVOOC charger should be fast at its job.
Other goodies in the bag are Android 12-based OxygenOS 12.1 software. OnePlus assures 2 years of platform upgrades and 3 years of security patches.
For connectivity, you can rely on 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, an under-display fingerprint reader, a USB-C port, and stereo speakers.
OnePlus Nord 2T is available at a price tag of EUR 399 (~Rs 32,700) for the 8+ 128GB edition. You can pick it in Gray Shadow and Jade Fog colors. The handset hits the store shelves of the official OnePlus website and Amazon on May 24, 2022. Indian availability and pricing details are yet to be revealed.
