OnePlus seems to be expanding its foldable lineup. If word on the street is to be believed, OnePlus can soon launch its first clamshell-style foldable smartphone. It can be called the OnePlus V Flip. This news was shared by a Chinese tipster on Digital Chat Station. He even revealed the expected launch timeline, and along with that, we learned a little more about the device. Here’s everything that we know about the upcoming OnePlus clamshell.

As per the Chinese tipster, OnePlus can launch the flip phone in the first half of next year. It can happen somewhere between April and June 2025. Rumours suggest that the OnePlus V Flip can be a rebranded version of the Oppo Find N5 Flip. But some rumours also deny that claim, so we are not really sure. Once out, the OnePlus V Flip can compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Motorola Razr foldable smartphones.

In addition to that, OnePlus is also reportedly working on OnePlus Open 2 as well. It is expected to drop in the early months of 2025. We can expect to see a significant hardware update. The foldable phone can be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. For cameras, we can get to see a triple camera setup with a 50MP main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a periscope telephoto camera with optical zoom. It can carry a bigger 5,700mAh battery as compared to the current 4,805mAh battery.

So OnePlus does seem to have some big plans with its foldable lineup for 2025. For now, a lot is not known about the upcoming OnePlus V Flip, but as the launch comes closer we might learn more about the device.
