OnePlus has introduced a special offer for its users in India who faced the green line display issue. This problem made many OnePlus smartphone screens show green lines after the OxygenOS 13.1 update. The company has now come up with a solution. If you have a OnePlus smartphone like OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 8T, OnePlus 9, or OnePlus 9R and you experienced the green line issue due to an update, there's good news.
OnePlus is giving a lifetime warranty for the screens of these affected phones. This means that if your phone's screen has this problem, OnePlus will replace it for free. And this is applicable no matter how many times you will face this issue.

The green line issue started when some users updated their smartphones to OxygenOS 13.1. Even restarting or going back to the older version didn't help. People talked about this problem on places like Reddit, Twitter, and more.
When we reached out to OnePlus to confirm and comment on the development, a spokesperson said the following, “We realise that this issue has caused a great deal of inconvenience to the affected users, and we apologise for it. In line with our unwavering commitment, we encourage users to visit the nearest OnePlus service centre for device diagnosis, and we will provide free screen replacement for all devices affected by the situation."
OnePlus further stated that, "On select OnePlus 8 and 9 Series devices, we are also offering a voucher that will provide the user with a fair percentage of the device value to upgrade to a new OnePlus device. In light of the current situation, we are also offering lifetime screen warranty on all affected devices. Thank you for your understanding and support."
