OnePlus is offering an exchange program for all three of its devices through a partnership with ReGlobe. To avail the offer, users will have to visit ReGlobe’s page or register on OnePlus’ page to check if their device is listed. They also need to share their contact details in order to receive a “best quote” for their device. It is also offering the B2X Service and B2X On-Guard Plus insurances for OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X respectively, for free if the quote is more than Rs. 5,000. Once the quote is accepted, a customer service representative will get in touch with the user for re-confirmation. Users will then have to choose one of the two exchange schemes on offer. The first is called ‘Buy First, Sell Later’ and the other is called ‘Sell First, Buy Next’. This scheme is valid till December 31, 2015.
The Buy First, Sell Later option is aimed at users who would want to buy the device first. When chosen, ReGlobe would share an invite code for the OnePlus device and then schedule a pick-up for the older device at a future date. ReGlobe would then approve the sale of the older device and receive a confirmation from OnePlus on the activation of the invite. Once this process is complete, the user will be sent a link to avail the free insurance (if eligible) as well as an Amazon Gift Coupon matching the quote of the older device within three to five days. In the Sell First, Buy Next option, ReGlobe will pick up the old device first and then send the invite for the OnePlus device of their choice as well as the Amazon Gift Card Coupon which matches the negotiated quote of the older device.
Users can also choose to receive cash instead of the Amazon Gift Card. But for such transactions, no insurance will be provided by ReGlobe. It should also be noted that the free insurance is only valid for the OnePlus 2 and the OnePlus X. This exchange scheme is available for Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow and Ahmedabad.
