OnePlus Ace 3 tipped to feature 6.82-inch display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC & more

For quite some time now, we have been hearing a lot about the OnePlus Ace 3 handset. This smartphone is anticipated to make its debut in China soon, with speculations suggesting it might be rebranded as the OnePlus 12R for a global release. A new leak has revealed specifications of the device, including display details, processor and more.
According to the tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3 smartphone model is expected to feature a 6.78-inch BOE X1 display with 1.5K resolution and curved edges, reports 91mobiles.

The tipster revealed that the Ace 3 device will likely offer the same peak brightness and PWM dimming similar to the OnePlus 12 smartphone. For those who are unaware, the OnePlus 12 handset features a 6.82-inch quad-HD+ LTPO OLED display with 4,500 nits brightness and 2160Hz PWM dimming rate.

The tipster also mentioned that the forthcoming smartphone model is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
This device could come packed with a 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. Also, it might have a full-metal frame for better durability.
Rumours suggest that the OnePlus Ace 3 is expected to feature a triple camera setup, consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide OmniVision OV8D10 sensor and a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto lens. On the front, there could be a 16MP camera.
The upcoming Ace 3 device will likely operate on Android 14-based ColorOS 14 custom skin out of the box. It could also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP68 rating, and Dolby Atmos.
As far as the launch is concerned, there is speculation that the OnePlus Ace 3 might launch in China on December 17.
