There is no official release date for the OnePlus 9, but it looks like we have our best look yet of what the smartphone looks like. PhoneArena has got its hands on photos of a preproduction unit of the OnePlus 9. Know leaker r Max Jambor has also corroborated the authenticity of the leak. So, it is possible that this is our best look yet of the OnePlus 9.
From the leaked images we can see the triple camera stack housing at the back of the phone. It is quite the prominent bump that houses the three cameras. From the camera stack, it appears as though we have two previously rumoured 48MP cameras and one Macro or monochrome camera.
The biggest change one will notice is the logo at the back of the phone. It is said to be OnePlus’ dedicated logo for prototype units and this will be replaced with the standard logo we have come to see from OnePlus once the unit is in its final stages of production.
Coming to the front, the smartphone is speculated to have a 6.55-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 20:9. The smartphone is also speculated to be powered by the recently announced Snapdragon 888 coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone is expected to run on Android 11 out of the box with Oneplus’ OxygenOS overlaying it.
In other OnePlus 9 leaks, information circulating the internet suggests that the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro could be accompanied by a third OnePlus device, called the OnePlus 9E. It is also speculated that the OnePlus 9 Pro could be IP68 certified. You can learn more about it here.
