We are still a few weeks away from the launch of the new OnePlus smartphones, but we already have a lot of leaks giving us pretty much all the new info that we need before the official announcement. In fact, the latest leak is probably the biggest one yet, and it shows what appears to be the official marketing renders of the phone.
The leak comes from WinFuture, and it shows both the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro in full, leaving nothing to our imagination.
First off, we have the OnePlus 9 Pro that's said to have a 6.7-inch curved display on the front with a punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera. At the back, you can see the new camera module with Hasselblad branding. OnePlus has already confirmed that the rear camera includes a Sony IMX766 sensor.
The phone also seems to retain the glass sandwich design from the past with a metal frame and the notification slider. The colours shown for the OnePlus 9 Pro variants in the renders include black, green, and silver. We don't know what these colour variants will be officially called just yet. The black variant, in particular, seems to have a textured back.
The OnePlus 9 will come with a 6.5-inch flat display instead of the curved one seen on the OnePlus 9 Pro. The leaked renders of the phone don't seem to have antenna bands, suggesting that it may have a polycarbonate body this time. At the back, you get a triple camera setup, again with the Hasselblad branding. OnePlus 9 colour variants shown in the renders include black, blue, and purple.
This is the biggest OnePlus 9 series leak to date, and it comes hot on the heels of the March 23 event during which the company will pull the curtains off the entire OnePlus 9 Series. It will be interesting to see how OnePlus has improved the cameras on these phones compared to the ones that came out in the past. Hasselblad branding definitely raises some eyebrows, but it remains to be seen what kind of value it adds to the package.
