OnePlus 6T gets Eurasian Economic Commission certification

In a season in which the world is witnessing the launch of this year’s most awaited flagship devices from some of the top companies, the rumours regarding the launch of OnePlus 6T have started to come in volumes. Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is already launched and people are eagerly waiting for the next generation of iPhones from Apple and Google’s Pixel devices. OnePlus, which has a reputation of a “flagship killer”, is next in line and its OnePlus 6T has been certified by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).

OnePlus usually unveils the “T” version of its flagship device in November after other companies are done with the launch of their premium smartphones. We have already seen several rumours which point that OnePlus could bring a bezel-less device with a pop-up camera. Its sister companies Oppo and Vivo have already laid the foundation of bezel-less displays with Find X and Nex smartphones respectively. The EEC document, however, doesn’t mention anything about the specifications and features but suggests that the model number A6013 is the anticipated OnePlus 6T smartphone.

Previous reports have claimed that OnePlus 6T will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display. The smartphone may be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 coupled with an 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. A higher variant carrying 256GB onboard storage is also expected. The phone may get a 3D depth sensor along with the already present two cameras. A 25MP front shooter could be added taking the number of cameras on the phone to five.
