OnePlus 6 pre-bookings now live in India on Amazon with cashback and extended warranty offers
Customers pre-booking the OnePlus 6 will get Rs 1,000 cashback along with an extended warranty of three months.
OnePlus 6 can now be pre-booked in India via Amazon under the company’s Fast AF sale. The smartphone will be unveiled globally on May 16 and the next day, May 17 in India. Users can also get an additional Rs 1,000 cashback as part of pre-order offers, along with an extended three months warranty, which is applied over the standard one-year warranty of the smartphone. For availing the Rs 1,000 cashback, users first need to head over to the Amazon India Fast AF sale webpage and buy a Rs 1,000 denomination gift card by clicking on the ‘Shop Now’ button. This needs to be done before May 16, the last day for pre-ordering the device. One will then receive the gift card on their registered email address and they need to use it while purchasing the OnePlus 6 on May 21, which is a Prime early access sale, or on May 22.
Customers will receive a Rs 1,000 cashback in form of Amazon Pay balance and it will be refunded to their Amazon account latest by May 25, 2018. The extended warranty will also be enabled on the purchased OnePlus 6 smartphone by June 30, 2018. It should also be noted that users purchasing the device will not be able to avail EMI or Pay on delivery options. Additionally, in case one purchases the handset using the Gift Card after the expiry of the Phone Sale Period, they will not be eligible to receive the benefits under the Offer.
The OnePlus 6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and is expected to be launched in a 6GB/8GB RAM with 64GB/128GB/256GB internal storage variants. It will feature a notch on top of its display and the company will also be hosting special pop-events around the globe including eight cities in India. Customers will be able to experience and buy the device at the event and in India, they will be held in Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. OnePlus 6 customers will also get to experience the latest public beta of Android P operating system on the device. At the Google I/O 2018 developer conference, the search giant announced that for the first time, the latest Android P public beta will be available for devices other than the Pixel phones and the list includes the yet to be launched OnePlus 6. The company has also announced the same on their OnePlus forum.
The upcoming smartphone was recently spotted on Amazon Germany website, which revealed some of its key specs. The OnePlus 6 was spotted in Midnight Black and Mirror Black variants and as per the listing, the handset will feature a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a 2280 x 1080p resolution. It is also mentioned that the rear glass panel of the device is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, which is also confirmed to be water, drop, and scratch resistant. The smartphone is already hinted to be either water or splash proof, which we will surely know when it is officially launched.
