OnePlus 5, the next flagship device from the company has been listed on retailer site ahead of the official announcement. The listing uses the previously leaked render of a black model showing the dual rear camera setup. It also suggests OnePlus will price its next flagship at $449 (approx. Rs. 28,900) and shipments are said to start from June.
The OnePlus 3T is one of the best smartphones in the market right now, and the next version of the devic is expected to take on current generation of flagship devices like the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Xiaomi Mi 6. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has already confirmed that OnePlus 5 is in works and said that it would be a big surprise for consumers.
The listing suggests OnePlus will switch to a Quad HD display panel this year. The smartphone is likely to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and option for either 64GB or 128GB storage. The device is tipped to sport a 12MP dual-rear camera setup and an 8MP front camera. A recent leak suggested OnePlus 5 may feature a larger 3600mAh battery with support for new Dash Charge 2.0 technology. OnePlus 5 is also rumoured to come in an 8GB RAM variant this year.
