However, the exact launch date for the new phone has not yet been revealed
The upgraded version of the OnePlus 3, the OnePlus 3T, will soon be available in India. Vikas Agarwal, OnePlus’ India Head, made the announcement via the company’s official forum. However, he has not revealed the official launch date of the phone in India yet. “Getting the OnePlus 3T to India has been a top priority for us, and we are delighted to announce that we are all set to release the OnePlus 3T in India shortly,” he said.
Further, Agarwal also said that he is volunteering to a round of ‘Truth or Dare’ in which fans can ask him anything, or challenge him to an “adventurous dare.” At the end of the round, he will announce the date of the OnePlus 3T’s launch in India.
To recall, the Oneplus 3T was launched a few days ago, and sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC as compared to the Snapdragon 820 found on the original version. Further, the new phone also comes with a 16MP front camera and a 3400mAH battery. The new phone is priced at $439 (approx. Rs. 30,000)
It is not known if the company will continue to sell the OnePlus 3 after launching the OnePlus 3T. It was earlier reported that the company has stopped selling the original version of the phone in the US and Europe.
