The excitement about the OnePlus 13 is growing. The company has officially announced now that the OnePlus lineup will include 2 smartphones: the OnePlus 13 and the OnePlus 13R. The global launch of the smartphones will take place during OnePlus’ Winter Launch Event on January 7 at 9 PM IST. Ahead of the launch, we know a lot of things about this affordable brother of the OnePlus 13, thanks to leaks and rumours. Let’s take a look.

Everything we know so far about OnePlus 13R

OnePlus 13R will slightly divert from the design language of its predecessor. It features Gorilla Glass 7i both on the front and rear. It can be 7mm thick and can feature aluminium frames. It can come in two colours: Nebula Noir and Astral Trail.

On the performance front, the OnePlus 13R can run on last year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. For cameras, it can feature a redesigned camera setup featuring three cameras. It can also include a 50-megapixel telephoto lens.

Lastly, it hops on to the industry trend and can back a 6,000mAh battery compared to the 5,500mAh battery on the OnePlus 12R. It will most likely come with the same 100W charging support.

In addition to OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R, OnePlus can also unveil a new Sapphire Blue variant of its OnePlus Buds Pro 3. These buds will feature AI Translation technology and advanced noise cancellation.
