OnePlus 13 launch date: The Chinese smartphone maker has officially announced the OnePlus 13 launch date. The OnePlus 12 successor will debut in the first week of January with some massive upgrades in performance and some tweaks in the design. Not only that, the OnePlus 13R will also be making its debut on the same day as the banner suggests the ‘OnePlus 13 series’ is launching on January 7.

The OnePlus 13 will be making its India debut on January 7 along with the OnePlus 13R. The Winter Event will begin at 9 PM IST (10:30 AM EST) and will be livestreamed on the YouTube channel and social media pages.

OnePlus 13 series: What to expect

The next-generation OnePlus 13 is expected to come powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and may come coupled with up to 24GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. It will run on Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 and may feature a vegan leather finish. The smartphone is expected to get the same camera and display specs but will come with a bigger 6000mAh with support for 100W charging speed. Additionally, it may feature an IP69 rating and will be offered in Midnight Ocean, Black Eclipse, and Arctic Dawn shades.

OnePlus 13R 5G specs: (Expected)

At the Winter Event, the next-generation flagship killer is also anticipated to make its debut. It might have a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Under the hood, it may feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and come coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Just like its elder sibling, it will also run on Android 15-based OxygenOS 15. It may come backed by a 6,000 mAh battery and 100W charging. It is also said to be thinner compared to the OnePlus 12R.

A triple camera setup consisting of 50MP, 8MP, and 50MP may be included. The device may have a 16MP front-facing camera for taking selfies.
