OnePlus 13 Mini to launch soon? New phone with Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC might be in works

OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R made their global debut, including India, on Tuesday at the Winter Launch event. Both smartphones launched with a powerful Snapdragon 8 series chipset, a triple camera setup with a telephoto lens, an alert slider, and more. Now, reports suggest that the company is working on a new device, possibly the OnePlus 13 Mini.
According to a tipster Digital Chat Station, the company is working on a device with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. He also mentioned that the company could also call it the OnePlus 13T. This comes after reports claimed that OnePlus is working on a new compact phone under the OnePlus Ace series for the Chinese market. Here’s everything we know about the new OnePlus device.

As per the tipster, the phone maker could bring a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED flat display with smaller bezels. He also mentioned that the device could get a metal middle frame along with a glass body. The device could come powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
In the Weibo post, he also mentioned that the device could feature a triple camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor along with an 8MP ultrawide shooter and 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. However, these are not the confirmed details, he added.
He also stated that the device may vary from the rumoured Oppo Find X8 Mini in terms of the chipset. He mentioned that the Oppo Find X8 Mini could get the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset and, a triple camera setup including a periscope camera.
It is worth noting that OnePlus has not acknowledged the development as of yet. It remains to be seen if the device will be introduced in the coming months or not.
