The OnePlus 13 has been making waves online with daily leaks and rumors. One of the biggest anticipated features is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. Additionally, there are talks of a design refresh and a 6000mAh battery, which is rumored to power both the OnePlus 13 and the upcoming OnePlus Open. OnePlus China President Louis Lee recently confirmed that the OnePlus 13 will launch in China this October. However, it may not arrive in India this month, as OnePlus typically launches locally first before rolling out globally a few months later. In this article, I’ll be sharing 5 latest details about the OnePlus 13 that have surfaced online.

More power with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4

Qualcomm is hosting its Snapdragon Summit event in Hawaii from October 21 to October 23, where the semiconductor manufacturer will launch the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Around those dates, the OnePlus 13 is also expected to launch with the new Snapdragon flagship processor. It is expected that it will be the first phone with the Snapdragon 8 gen 4 SoC.

A different design?

A known tipster, DigitaChatStation leaked a render of OnePlus 13’s back cover, which suggests the phone might come with a rectangular camera module. In the render, there are 4 camera rings of different sizes on the back. This OnePlus phone is also expected to come with Hasselblad tuning. Moreover, OnePlus has been launching its number series smartphones with curved designs. But, the OnePlus 13 might change that. It is rumoured to launch with a flat display design, just like we saw in Pixel 9 series and Samsung Galaxy S24 series.

Brighter display

The OnePlus 12 launched with a display that has 4500 nits of peak brightness, and the display was legit very bright. With the OnePlus 13, it is even expected to be brighter. OnePlus is also rumoured to use BOE X2 display in the OnePlus 13, which is a high-end panel.

New Periscope telephoto

As I mentioned above, the case of the phone reveals three camera rings, which means it can sport a triple camera setup. This can include a 50-megapixel main camera, a new 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT periscope sensor with up to 3x optical zoom, and one more sensor, probably the ultrawide.

Biggest battery ever on OnePlus phone

The OnePlus 13 is also rumoured to be packed with a 6100mAh battery. Further, it can support up to 100-watt fast charging.
