OnePlus has confirmed the launch of its upcoming flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13. While the exact date hasn’t been announced yet, the OnePlus 13 is confirmed to launch in India in January. However, it was already launched in China a month back, which means we have the specifications of the smartphone. Now we are not sure whether the OnePlus 13 India variant will carry the same specification but usually OnePlus’ flagship devices do carry the same specification.

In this article, I am going to tell you 13 things about the upcoming OnePlus 13 that we know ahead of its India launch.

13 things about OnePlus 13

Design

Let’s start with the design. The OnePlus 13 does not carry a curved display, instead, it comes with a flat display. Apart from this, not much has changed in the design, there is still a circular camera module like the OnePlus 12 but it is not connected to the side frame this time.

Body protection

OnePlus 13’s display is protected by a Crystal Shield super-ceramic glass. Moreover, it is packed with an aluminum frame and also features an IP68/69 rating against dust and water.

Display

Coming to its display now, the OnePlus 13 features a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display that comes with 2K resolution and supports 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 10-bit color.

Display brightness

The OnePlus 12 comes with a display which has 4500 nits of peak brightness. The same you are getting in the OnePlus 13. It also comes with a display that has up to 4500 nits of peak brightness.

Processor

As we all know, the OnePlus 13 will come to India powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This processor has two big cores clocked at 4.32 GHz and six small cores clocked at 3.53 GHz.

Storage variants

The OnePlus 12 was launched in China with four storage options; 256GB 12GB RAM, 512GB 12GB RAM, 512GB 16GB RAM, and 1TB 24GB RAM.

Software

It is also expected to launch in India with the latest OxygenOS 15, which is based on the upcoming Android 15 OS.

Camera specifications

The OnePlus 13 is equipped with a triple camera setup, which holds a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens.

Camera features

Just like its predecessors, the OnePlus 12 will also come with Hasselblad tuning. It will also support gyro-EIS, Dolby Vision, and can record 8K videos at 30fps.

Selfie camera

On the front, you will get a 32-megapixel selfie shooter on the OnePlus 13. Apart from clicking pictures, you can also record 4K video from it at 60fps and it supports gyro-EIS as well.

Sensors

The highlight would be the under-display Ultrasonic Fingerprint sensor, which will be as fast as sonic as the name suggests. Along with this, it will also have an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and color spectrum.

Battery

The OnePlus 13 is expected to pack a big 6000mAh battery that will support 100-watt of fast charging, 50-watt of wireless charging, 10-watt of reverse wireless charging, and 5-watt of reverse wired charging.

Price

OnePlus launched this flagship smartphone in its home country at a price of CNY 4,499. If we convert it into rupees, it will be somewhere around Rs 55,000. However, due to taxes, we are expecting that the OnePlus 13 will launch in India at around Rs 70,000.
