Usually, OnePlus launches its numbered series flagship device in India after a few weeks of China launch.

The OnePlus 13 will launch in China on October 31.

However, it will probably make its debut in India in January 2025.

OnePlus 13 is set to launch in China on October 31. The upcoming flagship phone from OnePlus was officially unveiled earlier this week and is expected to be one of the first phones to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset worldwide. The chipset is expected to bring significant upgrades over its predecessor — the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. OnePlus has confirmed that the phone has achieved an AntuTu score of over 3 million which will make it one of the most powerful phones at the time of launch. For context, most flagship phones of 2024, including the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro Max failed to cross the 2 million mark in our AnTuTu testing. While the eventual scores will depend on a lot of factors, the early signs are largely positive.

Given the popularity of OnePlus phones in India, there is obviously a lot of excitement around the OnePlus 13 as well. But, when will it launch in India? The company is yet to officially lock an India launch date for the OnePlus 13. Earlier, OnePlus would launch its flagship phones in India around March or April. However, the pattern has changed in the last couple of years.

While the OnePlus 11 debuted in India in Feb, the OnePlus 12 was launched even earlier in January. In all likelihood, the OnePlus 13 should also arrive in India around the same time – January 2025. This will put it against the likes of Samsung Galaxy S25, iQOO 13, Xiaomi 15 and a few other phones that are expected to launch in the first half of next year.

What do we know about OnePlus 13?

The OnePlus 13 will look similar to the OnePlus 12, featuring a circular camera module on the back, and the overall size is expected to remain the same. However, there’s one notable change: the OnePlus 13 will come with a flat display and a boxy frame, following the trend seen in other flagship devices like the Samsung Galaxy S24, Pixel 9, and more.

Rumours and leaks have revealed pretty much everything about the smartphone. The phone should come with a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with up to 120Hz refresh rate. This display can have up to 6000 nits of peak brightness. Next, it is also rumoured to run on Android 15-based OxygenOS 15. Further, OnePlus can offer up to 24GB RAM with the OnePlus 13.

For photography, the OnePlus 13 may have a triple camera setup, housing a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor with up to 3x optical zoom. Lastly, the OnePlus 13 is expected to be equipped with a 6100mAh battery. There have been previous rumours that OnePlus is developing a 6000mAh battery, which could power both the OnePlus 13 and the upcoming OnePlus Open.
