It will launch on January 23 and bring some upgrades as well.

OnePlus 12 is coming to India on January 23, and it has been confirmed that the OnePlus 12R will also join the launch this year. Before OnePlus 11, the brand used to roll out the ‘R’ variants after a few months of its numbered smartphone launch. However, like last year, OnePlus will not make us wait for a toned-down version of the OnePlus 12.
Interestingly, the Chinese brand has been gradually revealing the details of the OnePlus 12R. A few days ago, we came across the design of the OnePlus 12R. By the looks of it, the OnePlus 12R doesn’t seem so different from its predecessor but there are plenty of changes. OnePlus 12R specifications
The OnePlus 12R will launch on January 23 and it seems the smartphone is coming with some upgrades as well. Firstly, let’s talk about its display. The OnePlus 12R will launch equipped with a LTPO ProXDR display. The display will support up to 120Hz refresh rate and also be able to switch between 72Hz and 90Hz. It is said to launch with a 6.78-inch display that will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victsu 2.
Coming to the battery now, a 5500mAh battery will run the OnePlu 12R. Last year, the OnePlus 11R was equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supported 100-watt fast charging. Currently, we have not been informed about the fast charging capabilities of the OnePlus 12R, but OnePlus did confirm two things: SUPERVOOC fast charging, obviously, and the Battery Health Engine.

These were the specifications of the OnePlus 12R that the brand has officially confirmed. Speaking of its processor and camera, the OnePlus 12R is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. For those who don’t know, it was Qualcomm’s flagship processor of 2023. Moreover, it is said to have a triple camera setup, carrying a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel Ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
