OnePlus 12 seems to be sticking to the script with design and launch timeline
OnePlus 12 could debut in December but it is expected to make its way to the global market later only.
As per previous leaked renders, the OnePlus 12 could share a similar design as the OnePlus 11.
There would be obvious spec improvements. Let’s see what the rumours suggest.
OnePlus 12 could launch around the same time as the OnePlus 11. So, it won’t just be sharing the design language with the predecessor but could be bringing more similarities.
OnePlus 12 launch date
OnePlus 12 is tipped to launch in China in December 2023 but see the daylight in the global markets in February next year. The tip comes from leakster Yogesh Brar. This corroborates what another tipster named Max Jambor also claimed the phone could debut in December.

If you recall, the OnePlus 11 had also launched in India on February 8, 2023.
Another similarity between the two devices is their design language. Like the former, the new OnePlus phone could also have a round camera island which will be connected to the side frame.
However as per the source of these renders OnLeaks (via Smartprix), the camera arrangement might seem some change. One of these could be a periscopic telephoto lens that helps to zoom farther than a regular telephoto camera would allow.

Another arrangement that has changed is how the selfie camera has been moved from the top left corner to the centre.
The screen itself is supposedly a 120Hz 6.7-inch 2K panel. The battery size is also said to be a 5000mAh cell, the same as the precursor.
So far things seem a lot similar. But, being a new device, it would bring some changes too.
OnePlus 12 specs: What could be different?
The wired charging speed could be faster at 150W but the wireless charging is said to be slower at 50W.
The underlying processor could be updated to date with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
The camera setup could also see an upgrade: a 50MP IMX9-series primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 64MP Omnivision OV64B periscope telephoto shooter.
