The OnePlus 12 has finally launched in China today with some really exciting specifications. The latest flagship by the Chinese brand was long-awaited. It’s the third smartphone in China to debut with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Along with the processor, the OnePlus 12 comes with plenty of upgrades such as the camera, display, and battery as well. However, in terms of design, the OnePlus 12 is quite familiar to its predecessor, the OnePlus 11. Let’s talk about it.
OnePlus 12 Design
OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 12 in three colour options that are Green, Black, and White. On the back, there is a big circular camera module that houses a triple-camera setup. This camera module is placed on top of a bezel that is attached to the side frame. There is a Hasselblad branding too on the camera module.

The new smartphone comes with a curvy design for a better grip. Furthermore, it features stereo speakers and an optical screen fingerprint sensor. It is also protected by an IP65 rating against dust and water. The famous alert slide is placed on the left panel and the volume rockers and power buttons are on the right panel.
OnePlus 12 Display
First and foremost, OnePlus claims a 4500 nits of peak brightness in the OnePlus 12. That is insane, right? Moreover, the OnePlus 12 is equipped with a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED display with 2K resolution. This display comes with a 120Hz refresh rate support. It also comes with Dolby Vision support and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
OnePlus 12 Performance
The OnePlus 12 is equipped with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Alongside this flagship chipset, the smartphone boasts up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, a detail that had long been rumoured. Furthermore, it also packs an Adreno 750 GPU. OnePlus claims that the OnePlus 12’s CPU and GPU are 30% and 25% improved than its predecessor. Speaking of the OS, it will run on the latest Android 14-based skin.

OnePlus 12 Camera
The camera of the OnePlus 12 comes with a major upgrade. This major upgrade is the integration of a Periscope Telephoto sensor. The OnePlus 12 is equipped with a triple camera setup, holding a 50-megapixel Sony LYT808 OIS main camera, a 48-megapixel IMX581 Ultrawide sensor, and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B Periscope Telephoto sensor. For selfies, OnePlus has featured a 32-megapixel shooter.
OnePlus 12 Battery
The OnePlus 12 is packed with a huge 5400mAh battery that supports up to 100-watt fast charging. Interestingly, it also supports 50-watt fast wireless charging and 10-watt reverse wireless charging.
