Recently, OnePlus’ latest flagship launched in China. The OnePlus 12 is among the few smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. However, many fans are waiting for it to launch globally. Well, now we have not even one but two great news for them. OnePlus recently teased the OnePlus 12 global launch.
The teaser confirms that the OnePlus 12 could launch globally in early 2024. I was assuming that this could fall between January and March until this new report surfaces online. 91mobiles spotted a report by Dutch publication HardwareInfo, which talked about an internal OnePlus meeting. This revealed the global launch date of the OnePlus 12. Interestingly, it is also expected that the OnePlus 12R could also join the OnePlus 12.

According to the report, OnePlus had a meeting in Antwerp, Belgium. In the meeting, a OnePlus official revealed that the OnePlus 12 will launch globally on January 23. Along with the launch, it was also discussed that a toned-down variant of the OnePlus 12, the OnePlus 12R will also join.
Apart from this, Max Jambor, a known tipster also revealed the same global launch date of the OnePlus 12 on November 28. This leak also reveals that the OnePlus 12 will be launched in India on January 23.
Furthermore, the launch event is also expected to take place in India. The OnePlus Open was also launched globally in an event held in Mumbai.

Speaking of its specifications, the OnePlus 12 comes with a 6.82-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with 1440 x 3168 pixels resolution. This display has 4500 nits of peak brightness and also supports Dolby Vision.
Moreover, the smartphone runs on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. It operates on Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 skin.
For photography, it uses a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 48-megapixel Ultrawide lens, and a 64-megapixel Periscope Telephoto lens. It sports a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
The OnePlus 12 is packed with a 5400mAh battery with 100-watt fast charging support and 50-watt wireless fast charging.
