OnePlus China’s president, Li Jie, has revealed that the forthcoming OnePlus 12 smartphone will be available in three colours: Frost White, Cyan Green, and Obsidian Black.

Frost White represents purity and original intent, while Cyan Green signifies nature and expansive landscapes. Obsidian Black symbolises resilience and a decade of growth, reports Gizmochina.

The company highlighted top-tier glass craftsmanship in all three colour variants of the OnePlus 12.

Moreover, rumours hint at a variant featuring a wood grain texture on the back, paying tribute to the iconic wood-textured covers of the original OnePlus One. This seems to align with the company’s 10th anniversary celebration.

According to the renders, the upcoming OnePlus 12 smartphone will likely uphold the brand’s design heritage by featuring a triple-camera setup with a Hasselblad logo, a curved display, a centred front camera punch-hole, and a speaker placed above this punch-hole.

The OnePlus 12 will likely feature a 6.82-inch 2K BOE X1 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Also, this device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

For photography, the OnePlus 12 is expected to house a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto. This might be paired with a 50MP OIS main camera and a 48MP Ultrawide lens. On the front, there could be a 32MP camera.

The upcoming smartphone model could come packed with a 5,400mAh battery with 50W wireless and 100W wired charging support. It will likely run on Android 14 based on ColorOS 14.
