OnePlus continues its trajectory of limited edition models for its flagship series. The recent images floating around the Indian market reveal that the smartphone will be called the OnePlus 11 Marble Odyssey and the smartphone will flaunt the surface of Jupiter. How crazy is that?

What is 3D microcrystalline rock material?
According to the official photos, the OnePlus 11 Marble Odyssey is available in a single shade of yellow-brown that resembles the surface of Jupiter. This is the first phone with a marble finish and a 3D microcrystalline rock material on the back. The rear texture is antimicrobial, wear-resistant, and does not draw fingerprints.
The brand suggests that each piece of the rock is distinct creating unique rear models for each smartphone and that the whole process requires approximately nine different phases to complete one texture.

In India, the OnePlus 11 Marble Odyssey Edition phone will be available for purchase for ₹64,999/- in a single configuration with 16GB RAM and 256GB of storage. The OnePlus 11 Marble Odyssey edition phone will go on sale starting June 6 at 12 PM on the OnePlus India website, according to the company.
In addition, the brand is holding a contest where 601 participants will receive the tablet free of charge.The base edition of the OnePlus 11 5G costs ₹56,999/- in India and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The journey of limited editions for OnePlus started when the OnePlus 5T flagship series was launched. The company had skipped the numerical 4 for its series and had everyone wondering the superstition behind it. However, with the same series the brand started their first limited edition phone. Let’s walk through OnePlus’ journey from OnePlus 5T to OnePlus 11.
OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition
The OnePlus 5T Star Wars edition was the first of its OnePlus x Pop-culture collab limited edition and the first ever limited edition by the brand. The smartphone was released for Star Wars: The Last Jedi and the brand even changed its tagline from ‘Never Settle’ to ‘Strong Enough to Rule the Galaxy’. There were two models in the edition depicting a metaphorical comment on the dark and light side. Hence, there was a white and a black cell phone with the Star Wars logo at the centre-bottom. The limited edition box came with a Kylo Ren phone case too.
OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Edition
Similar to the OnePlus 5T: Star Wars Edition, the OnePlus 6: Marvel Avengers Limited Edition was announced during the time when Infinity War was in the theatre and the audience globally was fascinated by the franchise.
OnePlus partnered with the studios and crafted a Marvel Avengers edition which had a golden accent as the power button and the Avengers' logo on the centre-bottom alongside the phone box came with an Ironman black case.
OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition
Through this model, the brand was collabing with the British automobile giant McLaren for their McLaren MCL33, which was the company’s 2018 Formula One challenger. The model saw the design flaunting McLaren’s quintessential ‘Papaya Orange’ band at the end of the phone’s design with a similar black mirror case as that of the OnePlus 6.
OnePlus 7T Pro Mclaren Edition
This limited edition model helped the brand become global as the brand entered the US market with the OnePlus 7T Pro Mclaren Edition. The model was similar to that of 6T however, the capsule camera design with a Papaya Orange rim created an impact with the glossy black back with the edge shining in McLaren colour.
OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition
This model was released in collaboration with the popular RPG game Cyberpunk 2077 and it was the first time the brand was collaborating with a gaming brand.
OnePlus 9 Pro Flash Silver Limited Edition
The OnePlus 9 Pro Flash Silver Limited Edition was designed in collaboration with the famous Japanese illustrator Hajime Sorayama. Sorayama is famous for his female robot illustrations and has contributed for the Sony AIBO robots. Hence, the cover that was given in the box had a similar illustration and the cell phone was silver.
OnePlus 10T Marvel Edition
The OnePlus 10T Marvel Edition collected the Marvel goodies such as a Captain America grip and a Black Panther phone holder. The announcement for this limited edition model came in when the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was to be released.
The OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition
The brand experimented with the classic computer game, Pac-Man while crafting this model of the OnePlus Nord. he edition included the rear design having dots adapted from the game and the cover having a similar design of the interface of the game.
