One UI 7 update: These new features are coming to your Galaxy S24 and S23 very soon

At its recent Galaxy Unpacked Event, Samsung unveiled its latest Galaxy S25 series. Along with that, the company also unveiled its custom Android 15-based UI skin- One UI 7. It will be accessible on the S25 series smartphones out of the box, but for the rest of Samsung users, they will have to wait. One UI 7 is expected to roll out any time now for the flagship S24 series and S23 series smartphones first, and it will then gradually be rolled out for other Samsung series. The One UI 7 update is bringing with itself a range of AI-powered enhancements and performance improvements to Galaxy smartphones. We can get to see features like Now Brief, enhanced Circle to Search, AI-driven multitasking, and privacy-focused updates. Samsung claims that the new software aims to make Galaxy devices more intuitive and efficient.
Key features of One UI 7
- Now Brief & Now Bar: It will provide daily updates on weather, health stats, and news in a single glance. The Now Bar will appear as soon as you unlock your phone.
- Enhanced Circle to Search: Users can now take actions directly from search results on phone numbers, emails, and URLs.
- AI-Powered Search & Multitasking: One UI 7 introduces context-aware AI recommendations, this will help users navigate tasks more efficiently.
- New Productivity Tools: Features like Call Transcript, Writing Assist, and Drawing Assist have been introduced to streamline communication and creativity. Meanwhile, Audio Eraser removes background noise from videos for cleaner sound.
- Privacy Upgrades: The Personal Data Engine ensures user data remains secure with on-device processing, enhancing privacy and security.
The stable One UI 7 update is expected to launch on any time now for the Galaxy S24 series. Meanwhile, Galaxy S23 users can expect the update by mid-February. Other eligible Galaxy devices will receive the update in the following months. However, Samsung has not yet announced an official release date.
