ZTE's Nubia brand has launched its latest flagship smartphone in China called the Nubia Z17. The device features a bezel-less design, Snapdragon 835 chipset, dual-rear camera setup, and is available with up to 8GB of RAM.
The Nubia Z17 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass, with smaller top and bottom bezels. The handset is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 flagship platform. The smartphone is available in multiple options, namely a 6GB RAM model with either 64GB or 128GB storage and an 8GB RAM model with 128GB storage.
The dual-rear camera on the Nubia Z17 features 23MP and 12MP image sensors and offers 2x optical zoom. It also offers a f/1.8 aperture lens with 1.4 micron pixel size. There is also a 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and 80-degree wide-angle lens.
The Nubia Z17 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Nubia UI 5.0 on top. The smartphone is backed by a 3200mAh battery with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 4+, which claims to recharge the battery from 0 to 50 percent in just 25 minutes. The Nubia Z17 features a rear fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster and is IP67 water and dust resistant.
The smartphone is available in five different colour options: blue, black gold, black, gold and red. The 6GB RAM, 64GB storage variant is priced at 2,799 Yuan (approximately Rs. 28,000), while the 6GB RAM, 128GB storage model will retail for 3,399 Yuan (approximately Rs. 34,000). The flagship model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 3,999 Yuan (approximately Rs. 40,000).
