Nothing unveils a glow-in-the-dark phone: Check price, availability and more

Nothing, the brand known for its distinctive approach to smartphone design, has unveiled the Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition. This limited-edition phone, created in collaboration with Nothing’s community, features a unique glow-in-the-dark design, standing out from conventional smartphones.

Back in March, Nothing hinted at inviting its community to contribute to the redesign of the Phone (2a), but what the company didn’t reveal was that the final community designs would actually be adapted for Phone (2a) Plus.

This release is the result of months of behind-the-scenes collaboration between the brand and its fans. Five community members were selected to contribute ideas, resulting in Nothing’s first-ever co-created product. The Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition is now ready for the spotlight and is set to be available soon.

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition: Availability and how to buy

Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition will be sold via Flipkart. Nothing has set up a priority system, with early registrants from the Community Edition Project getting the first chance to buy the phone. Starting November 12, a select group of community members will receive a link to purchase the device, prioritising those who actively participated in the Community Edition Project. The earlier users register, the higher their chance of getting an invite during this first wave.

Additionally, on November 23, Nothing will host a drop event in Delhi, India, where 50 units will be available for sale on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans attending this event won’t need an invite code, but only one device per customer will be allowed. The exact location for the event will be announced soon.

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition: Price

The Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition, featuring a glow-in-the-dark design, is priced at Rs 29,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.

This special limited-edition marks a new chapter for Nothing, blending user collaboration with innovative design to create a smartphone that’s as functional as it is visually striking.
