Nothing has officially announced that it will host its event on March 4. Even though it has not been confirmed yet, the company can launch the Nothing Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro during the event. Teasers posted by the brand hint at a new design, with an image showing the rear camera layout of the upcoming phone. Even though the company has not revealed a lot of details about the devices, rumours, and leaks are keeping us well-informed about what we can expect from the device. Now, a hands-on image of what is believed to be the Phone 3a has leaked online, let’s see what it reveals.
The leaked image, shared by an X user @saaaanjjjuuu, shows the back of the phone partially covered, but enough is visible to provide some insights. Unlike the vertical camera arrangement of previous models, the three cameras on the Phone 3a are positioned horizontally, similar to the Phone (2a). The triple-camera setup may include a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel 2x telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. The front camera is likely to be a 32 MP sensor.
Additionally, the material surrounding the cameras appears to be brushed metal rather than plastic. The flash has also been shifted to the middle left side. On the Phone (2a) it was placed on the right.
Now, let’s take a look at other specs of the device that we know so far.
Nothing Phone 3a expected specifications
The Nothing Phone 3a is expected to feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. Furthermore, it is rumored to run on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, and along with that, it will most likely feature Nothing OS 3.1, based on Android 15 out of the box. Lastly, the Phone 3a can also pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 45-watt fast charging.
