Nothing has launched a new smartphone in the market under Rs 30,000. This is the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, which is said to be an improved version of the Nothing Phone (2a). The Phone (2a) launched at a starting price of Rs 23,999 and it has been a hit in the Indian market. Now, Nothing is rolling out the Phone (2a) Plus with a few upgrades. Let me tell you about them.

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus specifications

The Nothing Phone 2a Plus comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. This display supports 10-bit colour, up to 120Hz refresh rate, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Furthermore, the Phone (2a) Plus is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7350 Pro processor, which is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It runs on the latest NothingOS 2.6, which is based on Android 14.

For photography, you get a dual camera setup on this smartphone just like the Phone (2a). It includes a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens. But, the Phone (2a) Plus houses a 50-megapixel camera at the front as well. The Nothing Phone (2a) has a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.

Lastly, it comes with the same 5000mAh battery but there is little change in the fast charging. The Phone (2a) supports up to 45-watt fast charging, whereas, the Phone (2a) Plus supports up to 50-watt fast charging.

Price and availability

Nothing has launched this smartphone in the Indian market with a Rs 4000 pricier price tag than the Phone (2a). It has been launched at a starting price of Rs 27,999, however, it will be available for Rs 24,999 initially with a launch discount.
