The highly anticipated smartphone from Nothing has been finally confirmed by the brand. This is the Nothing Phone (2a), which is said to be an affordable version of the Nothing Phone (2). Furthermore, in the quarterly Community Update, Nothing also states that the upcoming smartphone will be a “clear upgrade to Phone (1) on every front.” Along with that, we also got to know that the Phone (2a) will also be carrying some of the famous features of its big brother, the Nothing Phone (2).

When will Nothing Phone (2a) launch?

Nothing has made a landing page for its upcoming smartphone on the official Indian website. The landing page states that the Nothing Phone (2a) is “coming soon.” The brand has not announced the launch date yet, but it is expected to launch during the MWC 2024. This will happen in Barcelona, Spain from February 26 to February 29.

Tipped specifications

As I mentioned above, Nothing Phone (2a) was a highly anticipated smartphone of the brand. This is because several leaks surfaced on the internet, unveiling its key specifications. According to AbhishekMarkets on X (formerly Twitter), the Phone (2a) will be equipped with a 6.7-inch FHD AMOLED display. The display would support up to 120Hz refresh rate.

Furthermore, the Nothing Phone (2a) is said to be packed with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It will likely run on Nothing OS 2.5 based on Android 14. Next, a 4900mAh battery is rumoured to power the smartphone.

For photography, it might feature a dual camera setup on the back, carrying two 50-megapixel sensors.
