The Nothing Phone (2a) might resemble the design of Nothing Phone (1).

Nothing has been quite in the news for some time now, mostly for its collaboration with the controversial Sunbird App. However, it might be working on something new now. According to media reports, Nothing is working on a new smartphone, and this time around, it is going to be more affordable. Even though the company hasn’t revealed much, it has been teasing and telling us that something is indeed in the pipeline.

Reports claim that this could be none other than the Nothing Phone (2a), a more affordable offering by the company. The design and display of the Nothing Phone (2a) are already tipped and are circulating on the internet. Further, the smartphone was recently spotted on the BIS listing.

The company updated its X (formerly Twitter) bio, which reads: “something is coming this week.” Tipster Abhishek Yadav believes that the company is hinting towards the Nothing Phone (2a). He shared that the company could announce the launch date of their upcoming smartphone. Taking it to X, he said, “Nothing might announce Nothing Phone 2A launch date this week.” We cannot be fully sure about it as Nothing hasn’t shared anything else. Even tipster Ishan Yadav shared that the launch of Nothing Phone (2a) is just around the corner.

Nothing Phone (2a) expected specifications

Speaking of the design first, as per the leaks, the Nothing Phone (2a) resembles the Nothing Phone (1) as it retains the aesthetic Glyph interface. The leaks also show that the smartphone could have a boxy chassis. 

Furthermore, the smartphone could feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. For the front, it could come with a punch-hole camera aligned at the centre.

We don’t know more than this, so we will have to wait till next week to find out what exactly is going to happen.
