A while back, it was rumoured that Nothing could bring a new smartphone to the market. This will be the Nothing (2a), which will be the toned-down version of the Nothing (2). Well, a new device from Nothing has been spotted on the BIS certification website. This device is said to be the Nothing Phone (2a). If this is true, then the alleged Nothing Phone (2a) will launch in India very soon. Here’s what we know about it.
According to a report by 91mobiles, a Nothing device is listed on the BIS certification website’s database. It is listed there with the model number A142. Along with that, a battery is also listed on the database with the model number NT03. The battery is certified by Nothing, making the assumptions even more strong. However, the Nothing Phone (2a) was previously tipped to appear with a different model number AIN142. Now, the reason why the model number is slightly different than the expected one could be the region.

As for the specifications, not much has been revealed about the smartphone. According to leaks and rumours, the Nothing Phone (2a) is expected to feature a 6.7-inch display with up to 120Hz refresh rate support.
Furthermore, it will reportedly pack a bigger than the Nothing Phone (2a). This could be a 4920mAh battery. For the context, the Nothing Phone (2) boasts a 4700mAh battery.
