Unfortunately for Nokia, its new flagship, the Nokia N8, had a shaky start in Russian waters. Nokia officially launched the phone the next day, and promptly informed the press that the device that was reviewed was a prototype that contained early software, and that people should wait before making judgements, as the Nokia N8 that finally hits the market will have all new and improved software, that will essentially remove all the quirks and build on the lack of features pointed out on the “premature” software.
Though it’s the world’s first Symbian^3 phone, it looks like Nokia is trying emphasize the 12MP camera more than anything else, and has revealed photos and videos taken by the phone-defining camera, showing its prowess.
Check out the crystal clear 720p HD video below (that has apparently not been “enhanced or tweaked in anyway”), as well as the high-res (4000×3000 resolution!) images from 12MP camera in the photo-gallery below. In case your internet speed is slow, we’d recommend you watch the video with HD off.
