Nokia’s Normandy smartphone screenshot reveals Windows Phone Live tiles
A new leaked screen shot courtesy our favorite tipster @evleaks reveals the Windows Phone Live Tiles inspired homescreen. The shot also reveals that the Normandy will be available in six colors – black, white, blue, red, yellow and green.
Normandy is back again, and this time @eveleaks reveals the Windows Phone Live Tiles inspired homescreen of the rumoured phone. The image also reveals that the handset will be available in six colours – black, white, blue, red, yellow and green.
This Android based OS strategy could be a move to replace the current S40 running Asha devices with more powerful Android smartphones.
The screen shot also reveals Nokia’s own app store, which Nokia is currently working on. Nokia is working with top Android developers to make their services and apps available on its rumored Android platform.
Microsoft and Nokia will have substitute for other Google services. Google Maps will be replaced by Nokia Maps, Google Search by Bing, Gmail by Outlook and so on.

Earlier reports also pointed to the fact that Project Normandy is still in development. @eveleaks also tweeted saying that ‘the reports of Normandy’s death have been greatly exaggerated’, followed by @evleaks again providing us with some rendered images of the device which give an idea about how the lock-screen would look and also apps like Viber and Skype.
So it seems all the buzz over Nokia’s Android device is still most likely on the cards. We can expect Normandy to be unveiled at next month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
