Microsoft Mobile has posted a new teaser on the Nokia Conversations blog, suggesting that a new “green” product is set to make an official appearance on June 24. According to reports, it could be the upcoming X2 as Nokia had used a similar green color while launching the Nokia X.
According to leaked images, the Nokia X2 has a 4.3-inch display with 800×480 pixels resolution. It has a 1.3GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. The smartphone will have a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front camera. Reports suggest that the Nokia X2 would sport a series of design changes compared with the original Nokia X, including a dedicated home button on its front. It will have 4GB of internal memory, and dual-SIM capabilities. No information about the Android version loaded on the device has been provided as of now.
The Nokia X and the Nokia XL launched earlier this year have proved to be very successful in emerging markets like India. Both the devices feature Nokia X OS and have 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Play processor. Nokia X has a 4-inch touchscreen and 3.15MP rear camera. The smartphone has 512MB of RAM and 32GB of expandable memory. The Nokia XL has a 5-inch touchscreen, a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. It has 768MB RAM and 32GB expandable memory. The Nokia X and XL are available for Rs 6,500 and Rs 10,440 respectively.
