New images have surfaced of an alleged Nokia Lumia 730 which is understood to be codenamed “Superman”. The images show the front and back of the device as well as the firmware it is running on.
As we reported earlier, Nokia is working on three mystery phones codenamed “Rock”, “Superman” and “Mclaren”, out of which “Superman” was meant for the mid-tier market. From the images leaked it seems this could be the successor to the Lumia 720 and could be called the Lumia 730. The phone surfaced will allegedly feature a 5MP front camera and the phone could be aimed at users who love taking 'selfies'. With the newly announced Sony Xperia C3, the selfie market is growing and may get some competition from the leaked Nokia device.
As for other hardware specs, the leaked device may come with a 4.7 inch screen and coloured polycarbonate back which is now synonymous with Nokia’s signature design. The phone will also feature on-screen contextual keys rather than permanent ones below the screen. Besides this, other specs of the device are unknown and vary across rumors.
A new firmware version of Windows Phone, “Lumia Debian Red”, has also been revealed running on the device in the leaked images. Like Android, Microsoft also names its firmware updates in alphabetical order but with colour names – Lumia Cyan was called “Cherry Blossom Pink” and Lumia Black was called “Bittersweet shimmer”.
We are trying to find out further information about the device and will let our readers know as we soon as we find any further information
