Nokia has introduced two new Lumia smartphones – Lumia 636 and Lumia 638. The smartphones have been launched in China at the price of CNY 1,300 ($210) approx.. Both the smartphones support TD LTE network and are compatible with international LTE for roaming as well.
The Nokia Lumia 636 and 638 feature a 4.5-inch FWVGA ClearBlack IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Both the smartphones are powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor along with 1GB of RAM. The 636 and 638 runs Windows Phone 8.1 OS.
Other important specifications include 5MP main camera with 720p HD video recording, 8GB of built-in storage and a micro SD card slot for additional space up to 128GB. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+ 42Mbps (Dual Carrier) , WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. An 1830 mAh battery powers the devices.
The Lumia 638 will be available from June 21 while the Lumia 636 will launch on July 5. They will be available in Black, White, Orange and Yellow. There's no word on global release of these smartphones. But, we expect it to be available in other markets soon.
