Microsoft launches Nokia Lumia 530 in India, the cheapest Lumia smartphone till date

Microsoft Devices today launched the Lumia 530 Dual SIM, the most affordable Lumia to date, priced at an attractive Rs. 7,349 for the dual sim version

Microsoft Devices has officially announced the launch of its Nokia Lumia 530 (dual-SIM) smartphone in India. Touted as the most affordable Lumia, the new Nokia smartphone is priced at Rs. 7,349.  The Lumia 530 will be available in the market starting August 14.

The Nokia Lumia 530 has a 4-inch FWVGA LCD display. It runs Windows Phone 8.1 and is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor along with 512MB of RAM. The smartphone has a 5MP rear camera.

The Lumia 530 comes with 4GB internal memory, supports storage up to 128GB via microSD and 15GB free cloud storage. For connectivity, the smartphone supports dual-SIM connectivity, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth (4.0), GPS and Micro-USB. The smartphone is powered by a 1430 mAh battery.

The Lumia 530 is also available through the Windows Phone Snapdeal app on Lumia 530 at Rs. 3000 discount.  They also stand a chance to win 6 free movie tickets from BookMyShow when they book seats to any show through the app. Additionally, Airtel prepaid subscribers will get 500 MB of 3G internet free for 2 months.
