Nokia D1C's two variants will differ in terms of RAM, camera and display size

Nokia is staging a comeback to smartphone market in collaboration with Finland's HMD Global. The company is reportedly working on two flagship devices and a mid-range smartphone to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress in February.

While Nokia's flagships were initial talking point, we have been hearing a lot about D1C lately, the purported mid-range smartphone. Nokia D1C has now leaked again indicating two variants, varying in terms of RAM, camera and display size. The existence of two variants is being reported by NokiaPowerUser, which has put out specifications and renders of the device.

Nokia D1C is reported to come in two variants with the cheaper version offering 2GB RAM, 5-inch full HD display and a 13MP primary camera. The more premium version is likely to feature a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 3GB RAM and 16MP rear camera. Both the variants are expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU.

Both the models are expected to come with just 16GB internal storage and an 8MP fixed focus front camera. A GFXBench listing earlier suggested that Nokia D1C will be 13.8-inch tablet but then another listing confirmed that its indeed a smartphone.

Nokia D1 runs Android 7.0 Nougat based on company's Z-UI. Nokia D1C is expected to debut at MWC 2017 along with other flagship device and maybe a tablet too.
