Nokia C5-03 – lightweight Symbian S60 touchscreen phone – announced for year end
Nokia has just unveiled the Nokia C5-03, or Nokia C5, an inexpensive and lightweight touchscreen device that runs the S60 5th edition operating system, and will hit stores by the end of the year. It weighs just 93g, and has an expected retail price of 170 euros, which is approximately 10,500.
[RELATED_ARTICLE]Featuring a 5MP camera, the Nokia C5-03 has a 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen with a 360×640 resolution display. It gives its users great connectivity options, with both 3G (HSDPA) and Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g), as well as Bluetooth and GPS with free Ovi Maps to round things off. It ships with a 2GB microSD card on board, which can be expanded up to 16GB. The phone’s 1000 mAh will apparently also give great backup, with a 25 day standby time and a 11 hour talk time. Possibly the best things about the phone are its rather speedy processor (for Nokia) – an ARM 11 600MHz chip, and its stereo speakers. It also features a trendy two-tone colour scheme.
