If you are interested in picking up a Nokia 7.1 smartphone, then there is good news for you. The smartphone has seen a price drop of Rs 2,000. At launch, the Nokia 7.1 was available for Rs 19,999 and is now available for Rs 17,999. As of writing this article, the official Nokia website along with Flipkart are reflecting the new price but on Amazon, the new price isn't reflected. The phone is available in two colour options – Midnight Blue and Steel.

Coming to the specifications of the Nokia 7.1, the dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 8 out of the box upgradeable to Android 9. The front of the device has a 5.84-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection along with HDR 10 support. Under the hood, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 636 SoC. The smartphone also features 64GB built-in storage expandable via a microSD card and comes with 4GB of RAM.

As far as the camera’s on the Nokia 7.1 are concerned, it has a 12MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 5MP secondary camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The front of the device has an 8MP camera for your selfie needs. The front camera has an f/2.0 aperture and comes with 84-degree field-of-view. The back of the smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor. A 3,060mAh battery powers the entire package. The smartphone also supports 18W fast charging.

In our review of the smartphone, we noted that the Nokia 7.1 “scores big on display and camera but falls short of its competitors when it comes to performance. The design of the phone makes it a classy looking thing, but the lack of a TPU case in the box is concerning due to the all-glass construction. It's not an all-rounder, but it is great for people looking for a smartphone with a good camera in this budget”. You can read our detailed review here.
