Nokia 6 Copper variant spotted, might not come to India
Nokia 6 has been spotted in a Copper colour option on Amazon US' listing, but it is not expected to release until August. It also suggests that the variant may not come to India.
HMD Global is working on a copper variant of its Nokia 6 smartphone. The handset has been spotted on Amazon US' listing for the smartphone. The copper colour version was initially exclusive to company's mid-range Nokia 5 smartphone.
The company recently confirmed that the Nokia 6 will go on sale in the US in early July in partnership with Amazon. The standard silver and black colour options goes on sale starting July 10, but the copper variant will be released on August 18.
The Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display and sports an aluminiym build. The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 430 chipset and comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. The Nokia 6 sports a 16MP rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture lens, phase detection autofocus and dual LED flash. The 8MP front camera also uses f/2.0 aperture lens and is capable of recording 1080p videos.
In terms of connectivity, Nokia 6 supports WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with near stock Android UI and HMD Global has promised to update the device to Android O as soon as it becomes official from Google. The smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh battery and will go on sale in India starting July 14. Vodafone recently announced that it will offer additional data with HMD Global's Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 Android smartphones.
