Nokia 6 silver colour variant clears TENAA certification
Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch display and is powered by the Snapdragon 430 processor.
Nokia 6, the first Android smartphone from Finnish startup HMD Global, was launched on Sunday. At the time of launch, the China-exclusive smartphone was only announced in Black colour variant, but now it seems there will be a silver colour option too.
A silver colour variant of Nokia 6 has passed China's TENAA certification site. The TENAA listing spotted by Nokiapoweruser suggests the device is codenamed TA-1000, the same device which passed 3C certification recently. In China, the Nokia 6 is available exclusively on JD.com and the retailer might add another colour option soon.
Nokia 6 is the first smartphone in the series of devices that HMD Global plans to launch under Nokia brand this year. HMD Global is rumoured to launch the Nokia D1C at Mobile World Congress next month, and a recent report indicated that there will be 6-7 more smartphones being introduced this year.
The Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch full HD display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. The device comes with 4GB and 64GB storage. It sports a 16MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and dual LED flash. There is also an 8MP front snapper with f/2.0 aperture and support for full HD video recording. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and features a front-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Nokia 6 houses a 3000mAh battery along with support for fast charging, and uses microUSB ports.
