Nokia 3310 has been spotted on Indian retailer, OnlyMobiles' website, ahead of official launch. The feature phone has been listed as coming soon, with a retail price of Rs 3,899. The website has listed the device in all four colour variants and offers 30 days price guarantee.
HMD Global, the Finnish startup with the license to sell Nokia-branded devices resurrected the iconic Nokia 3310 at MWC 2017 in February. A report yesterday said retailers in Germany and Austria have started taking preorders for the feature phone with a release date of April 28. At MWC, HMD Global announced its plans to launch the device simultaneously in 120 different markets.
There is nothing official about Nokia 3310's India launch just yet. HMD Global is reportedly planning to launch the device either at the end of May or early June. The company is also reportedly exploring options to assemble Nokia 3310, Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 Android devices in India in partnership with Foxconn.
Nokia 3310 comes with a new design that slightly differs from the original device. The feature phone sports a 2.4-inch QVGA display and is backed by a removable 1200mAh battery with rated standby time of 31 days.
