Nokia has launched a new Internet-enabled feature phone – Nokia 225. Priced at Rs. 3,329, the new Nokia phone is available in single SIM and dual-SIM variants.
The Nokia 225 measures 124 x 55.5 x 10.4 mm and weighs 99.8g. It has a 2.8-inch display with 320 x 240 pixels resolution. The Nokia phone has 2MP main camera. For sharing, the Nokia 225 supports Slam!, Bluetooth and social networking apps such as Facebook and Twitter. It also supports micro SD card with upto 32GB space.
For connectivity, the Nokia 225 supports 2G, microUSB, Bluetooth and 3.5mm audio connector. Other important features of the phone include FM Radio, Nokia Express Browser, Digital clock, Recorder, Calculator, Clock, Calendar, Converter, Alarm clock, Reminders, Phonebook, Alarm clock with ringtones, Flashlight.
The Nokia 225 is powered by a 1,200 mAh battery, rated to deliver 21 hours of talktime.

Focus on affordable handset market
After taking over Nokia's handset business earlier this year, Microsoft had assured it will continue to focus on the affordable handset market, estimated to be worth USD 50 billion.
“… with the Nokia mobile phone business, Microsoft will target the affordable mobile devices market, a $50 billion annual opportunity, delivering the first mobile experience to the next billion people while introducing Microsoft services to new customers around the world,” said Microsoft in a detailed statement.
According to IDC data, feature phone shipments in India rose 18 per cent to about 213 million units in 2013 from 201.8 million units in the previous year.
