Nokia has added yet another mobile to its budget portfolio, the Nokia 114. The phone is priced at Rs. 2,549. It boasts of some interesting features such as microSD card support, as well as a 1020mAh battery which Nokia claims will give users 10 hours of talk time.
The Nokia 114 also sports a 0.3-megapixel primary camera, GSM-GSM dual-SIM capabilities, and a 1.8-inch display with a QVGA resolution (128×160 pixels). Staying old school, the phone has an alphanumeric keypad. The phone is quite light, weighing in at a mere 80 grams. It’s a good thing the budget device has expandable storage, as the built-in storage is quite low at 64MB.
The new Nokia budget mobile also supports Bluetooth connectivity and comes pre-loaded with Nokia Xpress cloud-accelerated browser. The good thing about this browser is that it compresses data by up to 85 percent for smoother browsing on a slower network. The Nokia 114 also features of a FM radio connectivity, a feature missing in most modern day smartphones.
Commenting on the Nokia 114 launch, V. Ramnath, Director of Sales, Nokia India said, “The new Nokia 114 offers a great, affordable browsing experience for hyper-social consumers who want instant Facebook and Twitter access, as well as to stay connected on-the-go. This unique device supports 24/7 connectivity through faster Internet access with the Nokia Xpress Browser, resulting in a superior Internet experience for these price points”.
The Nokia 114 is available on Flipkart for Rs. 2,199 and on Saholic for Rs. 2,162.
