Nokia has launched its 106 feature phone in India. The new feature phone is available via the company’s official e-store at Rs. 1,399. The Nokia 106 is available in three colour options – black, red and white.
The Nokia 106 was unveiled along with 107 in August this year. The feature phone measures 112.9 x 47.5 x 14.9 mm and weighs about 74.2 gm. It runs on Nokia’s propriety Series 30 platform.
It has a 1.7-inch display with 160 x 128 pixels resolution. The phone comes with an 8,00mAh battery, which is rated to deliver 9.9 hours of talktime on 2G and 35 days standby time. The Nokia 106 comes preloaded with a range of applications – FM Radio, Digital clock, Calculator, Flashlight, Calendar, Phonebook, Converter, Speaking clock, Expense manager, Alarm clock, Reminders.
Even as Nokia is focussing on the smartphone market with its Lumia line up, it isn’t completely ignoring the feature phone and smart feature phone segments. Nokia recently launched Asha 500, 502 and 503 smart feature phones.
Nokia has already launched 107, 108, 105 and and 114 feature phones in India.
