With the arrival of the iPhone 15 series recently, the larger issue that was expressed over the internet was about its heating and battery issues. Many disappointed fans and users took to social media to share their annoyance, some even blaming the new titanium frame for the heating problems.
Apple addressed the concerns by stating that all these issues were occurring because of a bug in iOS 17. It was quick to even roll out software updates for iOS 17 to take care of the many complaints. However, users had to update their software soon after the purchase, even twice. Now to address this issue as well, Apple has come up with a plan. According to reports, the California-based tech company plans on pre-installing the latest software in the iPhones before they are purchased from the stores.

Simply put, when you go buy a new iPhone, it will already have the latest software downloaded for you and you will not have to update it so quickly. Even those iPhone boxes that are packed and ready to be sold will come with the latest updates already installed.
No, don’t worry, Apple is not planning on opening every packed box installing the new iOS update, and then repacking it. They are working on a new tech system to deal with this issue which can enable them to automatically do the job. This was revealed in Mark Gurman’s latest newsletter.

Basically, they are building a device that will be similar to a pad and you can put your iPhone boxes on it. Employees at the retail stores will just have to place the box on it, and it will wirelessly turn on the iPhone, install the new software update, and turn it off without any headache of doing it manually. So, users can buy iPhones with the latest updates directly from the stores.
Well, Apple is planning on bringing this facility to its retail stores on a quick deadline, hopefully by the end of this year. And yes, there are good chances that we will see it in Apple’s BKC, Mumbai store and Saket, Delhi store.
