Newly announced Asus Zenfones to be up for preorder from tomorrow
Three Asus Zenfone phones, the Zenfone Selfie, Zenfone 2 Deluxe and Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 will be available for pre-order from tomorrow.
Asus recently announced a range of new Zenfones in India at their first Zen Festival and it is now making these phones available for pre-order. Interested customers can now pre-order the Zenfone Selfie, Zenfone 2 Deluxe and Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 Asus’ e-retail partner, Flipkart..
The Zenfone Selfie will be available in two memory options — 16GB with 2GB of RAM and 32GB with 3GB of RAM. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC. There is a 5.5-inch FullHD IPS display, which gets Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The phone offers a 13MP rear camera with laser auto-focus. And, as the name suggests, the phone offers a 13MP camera at the front as well. The phone can support dual-LTE SIMs and comes with a non-removable 3000mAh battery. The 16GB model is priced at Rs. 15,999 and the 32GB model is priced at Rs. 17,999.
The Zenfone 2 Deluxe will also be available in two storage variants — 64GB and 128GB. The phone features an Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core processor which Asus currently uses in its original Zenfone 2 phones. The Zenfone 2 Deluxe also has 4GB of RAM and 5.5-inch 1080p display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Like other Zenfone 2 models, it offers dual-SIM capabilities and 4G LTE support.
Zenfone 2 Laser also comes in two variants, one is priced at Rs. 9,999 and the other one is priced Rs. 13,999. The company also announced a 6-inch variant of the Zenfone 2 Laser at the Zen Festival, but that will be coming later. As for the Rs. 9,999 model of the Zenfone 2 laser, it features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC, 2GB RAM, and a 5.5-inch 720p display. The Rs. 13,999 model of the Zenfone 2 has 3GB of RAM, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC, and has a 5.5-inch 1080p display. Both phones support dual-SIM and 4G. The main focus is the 13MP rear camera which features laser autofocus and dual-LED flash.
All Zenfones are running on Android Lollipop with the latest Zen UI layered on top of it. Pre-order for these phones start tomorrow.
