With almost a month gone since WWDC 2024, fans are really excited and waiting for Apple to release the promised AI features. Even though Apple has yet to confirm the arrival of a lot of features, it is expected that we might get to see an enhanced version of Siri by the spring of 2025.
This was confirmed by Apple analyst, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg. According to Gurman, users will be able to access the Apple Intelligence AI system with the upcoming iOS 18.4 update. With this update, Siri will become a lot more powerful, useful, and in turn capable.
As revealed in Gurman’s popular Power On newsletter, we now have a specific timeline to look forward to. Apple had previously only shared that the AI features will be rolled out next year.

As you must be aware, the enhanced Siri will use Apple Intelligence to become more user-friendly and perform tasks that it was previously incapable of doing. But, before we move any further, I would like to point out that it is likely that Apple won’t unveil all the AI features at once. A few might be rolled out later too.
Initially, we might get features where Siri can locate specific IDs from a vast photo library and copy information like a driver’s license number into users’ forms. On the other hand, we might not get features like AI-powered emoji generation or writing assistance immediately.
Another way in which we can get a clearer image of what to expect is through the upcoming iOS 18 beta versions. With the beta versions being rolled out, we’ll get an idea of what we can expect from the AI version of “Siri”.
The improved Siri might come with iOS version 18.4. But before that, with the launch of the iPhone 16 series, we will also get iOS 18 which will pack a lot of cool features too.
