The images posted by @OnLeaks show the black colour variant of the device

Samsung is tipped to launch its new flagship, the Galaxy Note 7 in a few weeks, and images of the device have now surfaced. Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka @OnLeaks posted a few photographs of the device on his Twitter account. The images show the black colour variant of the device and the curved screen, which is a first for the Note series. It also seems like the phone might be thicker than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, although this could be because of the S-Pen. Further, there is an additional sensor located above the display, which is expected to be the iris sensor. The images also line up with the renders that were leaked last month. Besides posting the photographs, Hemmerstoffer did not reveal any other details about the phone.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 7 at an event on August 2. The phone is tipped to feature a 5.7-inch QHD display and might offer 64GB of storage along with a 12MP DualPixel camera at the back (simialr to the one found on the Samsing Galaxy S7), while at the front is a 5MP camera. The phone is also tipped to be powered by the newly launched Snapdragon 821 SoC. The new chipset features the same Kryo cores as the Snapdragon 820, but the two higher cores are clocked at 2.4GHz.
